Sunset Cliffs Family Photos
I was so excited when Kathryn told me her family wanted to come to San Diego for a vacation, and they certainly weren’t going to pass up the chance to take some Sunset Cliffs family photos. Obviously I said yes and the planning began! We chose Sunset Cliffs, in short, because of the beautiful sunset views they provide – obviously.
Sunset Cliffs Natural Park
If you don’t know much about Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, it’s important to realize this area is huge! The park is nearly a mile and a half long, with a trail along the cliff, and plenty more leading down to the beaches below. This is a great surfing spot since it’s over a reef break, and the waves are big, slow rolling monsters. Furthermore, this unique coastal park offers sweeping ocean views, stunning cliff formations, and the coolest sea caves!
Family Photo Beach Wardrobe Inspiration
The Butlers came dressed to impress, which doesn’t surprise me with Kathryn’s Texas roots. She knows how to blend the perfect amount of Southern Charm with carefree SoCal beach vibes. Her off the shoulder Vince Camuto blue dress had the most gorgeous tie detailing on the sleeves, along with gorgeous navy stitching. Her husband, Andrew wore head to toe J.Crew. Baby Jack rocked the cutest little Gymboree polo and his little khaki shorts are from the Cat and Jack line at Target. We had the most wonderful time as Kathryn and Andrew played with Jack, drenched in the Southern California sun.
