Bria and George’s San Diego wedding at The Guild Hotel & The Lane wedding venue was a classic and elegant dream! They are truly two of the sweetest and beautiful – both inside and out – people I’ve ever met. I’ve heard many vows throughout my career, but Bria’s vows really jumped out at me. She talked about expecting true love to feel electric and intense, but learned with George it’s a slow, steadfast, and constant. A level-headed love that’s present through the ups and the downs. Their words were so true and special. I’m so honored Bria and George chose me to document their special day at The Guild Hotel & The Lane wedding venue.

The Guild Hotel Wedding Venue In San Diego

When Bria and George told me they chose The Guild Hotel for their wedding ceremony, I was so excited! The Guild is an iconic, classic piece of architecture that fits their vibe and personality so well. The Guild Hotel Wedding Venue has multiple iconic locations to host an event.

Bria and George held their ceremony in the Garden Terrace, a beautiful urban oasis filled with lush greenery and The Guild’s iconic black and white umbrellas. Cafe lights illuminated guests, and beautiful, oversized florals by Tiny Florals adorned the altar. Due to Covid, The Guild Hotel escorted guests to their seats at a safe, social distance. Friends and families were sat together to maximize safety.

To the right of the Garden Terrace, The Grace Ballroom is a lovely spot for a reception. Previously the YMCA basketball court, this room has a vintage 1920’s flair with a wall of beautiful windows allowing plenty of natural light with seating for up to 250.

The Lane Wedding Venue

Bria and George chose to hold the second portion of their wedding ceremony at The Lane. This is a brand new downtown venue overlooking the San Diego Bay! A fun fact, The Lane sits on historic land where the original Padres Stadium, Lane Field, once stood. The Lane wedding venue has over 12,000 square feet of space to customize your beautiful wedding! My favorite part about this venue is the beautiful terrace where guests can enjoy cocktails with a lovely view. It’s white, clean decor with modern twists make it the perfect blank slate for your San Diego wedding venue.
