I’ve been dying to share these Sagamore Pendry Wedding Photos from Morgan and Ryan’s special day! Together, the couple teamed up with the talented team at Betty Lou Events to bring their refined, industrial wedding vision to life. Their Fells Point Wedding paired historical, elegant vibes while pulling in hints of modern architecture. Morgan & Ryan
Morgan and Ryan are two of the most laid back people I’ve had the opportunity to work with. They truly rolled with the punches as they had to postpone and replan their original vision due to the pandemic. Ultimately, I don’t think this wedding could have been more perfect. While the guest count was lower than planned, the friends and family that were able to attend, came to celebrate in the best way!
Morgan and Ryan began their relationship in the winter, and Ryan’s friends new it was serious when he walked MILES (multiple times) during an epic Baltimore blizzard to hunker down with Morgan. They knew pretty early on she must’ve been the real deal. The couple dated for years and took a few amazing trips. After each trip ended without a ring, their friends, family, and even Morgan, grew impatient. A stubborn Ryan wanted to throw Morgan off his trail, so after all of their travel, he planned an epic proposal right in their hometown.
He booked the Presidential Suite at the Pendry Hotel, and told Morgan that his best friend got a room there for a mere 6 month anniversary celebration. Morgan wasn’t too thrilled about this, and made sure to make Ryan aware. Little did she know, the whole evening was for her. When she walked into the suite, Ryan dropped to one knee and proposed. Furthermore, Morgan made sure the pool deck below knew who had the *choice word* Presidential Suite that night!
Sagamore Pendry Wedding Ceremony
There are many locations to host a ceremony at The Pendry, but my favorite two are The Courtyard and the Sagamore Pendry Ballroom. The Courtyard features industrial design with a chic flair. Lush greenery complements modern, black architecture. This is the perfect downtown Baltimore wedding venue for your ceremony.
The Sagamore Pendry Ballroom, in my opinion, is the grandest of all locations to host an event. This would be a stunning option for a Fells Point wedding reception if you’re looking for a classic Baltimore wedding venue with tons of character. Gorgeous arched windows, intricate woodworking, and marble floors lend a classy vibe suited for the most traditional of brides.
Winslow Room Wedding Reception
Morgan and Ryan held their reception at The Winslow Room, located just a short drive from The Sagamore Pendry Hotel. This Industrial Chic stockroom style industrial building is rich in Maryland History. Originally the Parker Metal Decorating Company, The Winslow earned it’s spot on the National Register of Historic Places after a beautiful remodel. The Winslow Wedding Venue in Baltimore has two main rooms. The Train Shed room makes for a lovely ceremony site. With original brick walls as a backdrop, your decor options are endless.
My favorite Winslow reception space is the Winslow Room itself. This beautiful brick and exposed steel beam space has stunning natural light, vintage windows. The second story mezzanine allows for additional dinner seating, and not to mention a perfect angle for reception photos!
Morgan and Ryan, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me and trusting me to document your heartfelt day. Your ceremony spoke of a once-in-a-lifetime love, one that many people don’t get the chance to experience. That once in a lifetime love you two share is so apparent, and I wish you both nothing but love as you start your lives together!
