There are many reasons we chose this venue for our Old Hollywood Balboa Park wedding inspiration feature. Champagne events designed the most beautiful, soft bouquet to accent their Old Hollywood aesthetic. Complete with blush tones, and crisp navy berries, the bouquet was a perfect touch to the refined, backless ASOS gown Alicia chose.
For accessories, Alicia chose to pair the Alice and Mae “Blythe” crystal hair chain. The elegant piece draped effortlessly around the stunning updo by Kalifornia Glam.
Paired with the Blythe headpiece, was the Alice and Mae Caroline veil. The Caroline is an elegant shaped veil that is perfect for the bride who wants to show off her beautiful hairstyle and wear a veil at the same time.
Clay and Alicia are a gorgeous couple both inside and out, so it was important for us to choose a venue that could hold up to their elegant, classic style I highly suggest Balboa Park if you’re considering a Military Elopement!
The Prado At Balboa Park Wedding Inspiration
The Prado at Balboa Park wedding venue has so many options to fit you and your fiancé perfectly. Whether you’re interested in a small San Diego elopement, or a larger event, The Prado At Balboa Park has many options to fit your needs. The Prado at Balboa Park Wedding Venue has many options for ceremony and reception locations, but my favorite is Casa Del Rey Moro Gardens!
The Prado Casa Del Ray Moro Gardens
This site can accommodate up to 320 guests for a wedding ceremony. Casa Del Ray has the most beautiful and picturesque garden terrace for your event. The Prado’s multi-level terrace features a grand ballroom style staircase, adorned with Spanish tile. The stunning reflection pool is a perfect focal point leading to the altar. Furthermore, the terrace features historic fountains with intricate detailing. Casa Del Ray Moro Gardens provide the perfect backdrop for a secluded garden wedding.
The Prado Fountain Courtyard
The Fountain Courtyard makes for the most elegant cocktail hour and reception space. First, Old Spanish Archways give the most romantic feel, and the two-story architecture allows for aerial cocktail hour views. This allows me to capture unique and candid guest images! The existing, soft uplighting will make any wedding design feel intimate and dreamy.
I adore all of the beautiful event sites that Balboa Park has to offer, and it’s surrounding gardens available to utilize for portraits. Choosing a Balboa Park Wedding Venue will ensure you walk away with stunning historic images to cherish for years to come.
