This destination wedding is definitely one for the books! Kayla and Alex, such a wonderful couple, chose to host their destination wedding at the beautiful Villa San Giacomo in Positano, Italy. It’s a historical 18th Century villa set amongst the hills overlooking the breathtaking village of Positano and the Amalfi Coast. It was a very intimate and romantic event with only family and close friends in attendance, and I was incredibly grateful to have been a part of their big day! Intimate Destination Wedding in Italy

Id’ like to mention that Kayla is an incredibly talented wedding planner from Simply Gorgeous Events. This is why every detail of her wedding is to perfection! The venue itself was already a stunner, so Kayla opted for sweet and understated decor that matched the vibe of the venue. There were a lot of blush and coral tones that perfectly complemented the pink walls and lush greenery of the villa. It was the perfect combination of rustic and romantic!

Kayla was an absolute goddess in her gorgeous off-the-shoulder lace wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline. She paired it with a beautiful floor-length veil with lace detailing. On the other hand, Alex looked dashing in his classic black suit and bow tie. 

Villa San Giacomo Wedding Venue

Located in the hills overlooking beautiful Positano, Villa San Giacomo is a historical villa from the 18th century with all the luxuries of a 5-star resort. The gardens feature bougainvillea, lemon and orange trees that are incredibly refreshing. The swimming pool is tucked away within the gardens. This gives visitors even more access to the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast. The terrace has a stunning outdoor eating area that is the perfect setting for candlelit dinners, sunset aperitifs, and romantic breakfasts. The luxurious suites in the villa also have patios where you may take in even more beautiful scenery.

Magnificent chandeliers, priceless antiques, and historical artwork adorn the villa. Every single room on the property is a treasure trove that serves as a reminder of the aristocratic history of this magnificent villa.
