Angelica and Brian opted for the sweetest rustic garden wedding in Tivoli! I first met the lovely couple and their adorable dog, Doug, when I shot their engagement session at Marian Bear Park in La Jolla, San Diego, and enjoyed getting to know them and watching Doug grow up. They chose to host their wedding at Tivoli, a premier al fresco wedding venue nestled in the heart of Southern California wine country in the city of Temecula, just north of San Diego. The venue prides itself on its breathtaking mountain views, rustic greenery, and rich Spanish and Italian architecture. All of which were the perfect backdrop for Angelica and Brian’s romantic wedding day!

Tivoli Al Fresco Wedding | Rustic Garden Venue in San Diego

The couple had a lovely outdoor wedding ceremony and an al fresco reception, which Angelica impeccably designed all by herself. She is so talented and sweet! The ceremony was held at the Tesoro De Voli, a natural terrace offering gripping beauty and the most amazing views of the San Diego hillside. It was heartfelt, then the decor, simple, which brought more attention to the venue’s rustic beauty and lush greenery. Angelica wore a classic and timeless silk gown with a sweetheart neckline. While the main color theme was a soft dusty blue, Brian wore a gorgeous darker blue suit that stood out from the rest. 

Along with the theme, Doug, their most adorable dog, wore an elegant powder blue bow tie! He was so handsome, and he definitely stole the show! I highly recommend checking Doug out on Instagram @ourbugdoug for more sweet photos!

The al fresco reception was held at the Al Fresco Overlay, a unique European style canopy adorned by timber-inspired beam trusses providing an idyllic open-air experience. It was a candlelit garden dining, which highlighted the overall romantic theme. Angelica changed into her stunning floral backless gown for the reception. Moreover, the couple did a choreographed first dance, and there was a standing ovation – seriously amazing! Finally, we had the most fantastic weather and an unbelievable sunset to end the day.
