With hints of Tuscan-inspired architecture, and lush vines crawling the venue, The Gardens At Los Robles Greens wedding venue is truly one-of-a-kind.  Furthermore, the wedding venue can accommodate ceremonies and receptions up to 350 guests. Los Robles features a wedding ceremony site with amphitheater style seating, coupled with wooden pergolas leading down the aisle to most beautiful ceremony site.  The equally beautiful reception site sits adjacent to the ceremony location. In the middle of the Tuscan courtyard, guests can enjoy a beautiful cocktail hour alongside a peaceful fountain. Lastly, guests can enjoy dining and dancing under the stars with a beautiful waterfall and market lights strung throughout the reception space.

Melissa and Scott

Melissa and Scott met through an online dating site, but Scott had recognized Melissa in a mutual friend’s Facebook post. They decided to go on their first date and shared drinks alongside one another at a local Santa Monica bar. In short, the date went very well. So well that by the time the date ended, Melissa asked Scott to go to a concert for their second date. She had an extra ticket for that Tuesday’s concert, and Scott said yes. When the time came for their second date to end, Scott and Melissa had spent nine whole hours together! The rest is history.

The Proposal

Yosemite National Park is a place that Melissa holds dear to her heart. She’s been camping there with her family every year of her life. This is a tradition that began in Melissa’s family starting in the 1920’s! Scott had never been to Yosemite until he met Melissa. They created many fond memories, and he even met Melissa’s father in Yosemite! With this in mind, Scott knew that this was the place he would propose. He planned a trip for the couple to see the Yosemite Snowfall. They enjoyed the morning together site-seeing, and then Melissa had a suggestion. She formed a plan to hike to North Pines Campground, where her family tradition camping trips took place, and then the Ahwahnee Hotel.

Scott was one step ahead of Melissa. When they hiked toward the campground, they visited the site they camped in when Scott met Melissa’s family. Scott began to tell Melissa how he would love to carry on her family tradition there with children of their own. Soon after, he dropped to one knee in the rain and proposed to Melissa. When the couple made their way to the Ahwahnee Hotel, Melissa’s friends and family were already there to celebrate with champagne! It was a perfect, heartfelt proposal!
