Kenneth and Stephanie

Hailing from the Irvine area, Stephanie and Kenneth decided for the Sunset Cliffs for their engagement photos. And what a good choice that was! They couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful location or more perfect day for their session. The cliffs were uncharacteristically quiet and peaceful, and the sunset that stretched over the horizon was the most spectacular sunset I’ve ever witnessed at the cliffs. (And that’s really saying something; they don’t call it Sunset Cliffs for nothing!)

Stephanie wore a stunning floral wrap dress for the occasion, imparting a relaxed elegance that carried through the entire shoot. In fact, relaxed and elegant is not only the perfect descriptor for their outfit choices, but an apt descriptor of Kenneth and Stephanie themselves! They are effortlessly refined, while maintaining a laid-back approach that puts those around them at ease. Additionally, carrying through with the decidedly coastal feel of their Sunset Cliffs engagement photos, Kenneth complemented Stephanie with a white button-down shirt and casually rolled up khakis. They both opted to kick up their heels (literally!) and go barefoot. I can’t wait to do a second session with Stephanie and Kenneth where he will wear his military uniform. It’s going to be such a different style and vibe from their kick-back Sunset Cliffs Engagement Photos.

After spending the afternoon laughing, chatting, and just really digging this photogenic couple, I am looking forward to shooting their upcoming nuptials. Stephanie and Kenneth will be married this fall at the US Grant Hotel, a venue widely regarded for its whimsical combination of striking scenery and historic charm. Striking and charming? Sounds like the perfect wedding venue for this fun-loving couple!
