This elegant and classic lakefront wedding at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe was magical in so many ways. So many factors at play had us on the edge of our seat, and we are so thankful that the stars aligned for Breanne and Matt. First, leading up to the event, the vendors were worried that wildfires wouldn’t allow the wedding to move forward. The smoke content in Lake Tahoe was incredibly high, and we were certain they would have an overcast event. Second, a wave of Covid cases began a few weeks prior to this event, and we weren’t sure if it’d be forced to cancel. We were in complete shock, when we woke up to blue skies, beautiful weather. At that point, we knew their lakeside Tahoe wedding was going to be epic.

Breanne and Matt chose the Cottage Green meadow for their lakefront wedding ceremony at The Hyatt Lake Tahoe. They chose to fill the space with crisp white florals and lush greenery. The vision for this Tahoe wedding was to design the event in a way to enhance the natural beauty of the lake. Red Carpet Event and Design brought the couple’s vision to life, flawlessly with an abundance of white florals and a hint of subtle detail.
After the ceremony, Matt and Breanne’s guests took part in a cocktail hour outside the Lakeside Ballroom. White lounge furniture, fresh classic florals, and fire pits popped against the blue mountain scenery. Inside the ballroom, large floral arrangements filled the grand room. Through the glass windows, guest mingled fireside, overlooking the Hyatt’s private beach.
One of my favorite parts of Hyatt Lake Tahoe weddings, is sneaking out onto their beach to take sunset photos. Matt and Breanne soaked in their day from afar on the pier. As we were heading inside, the sun peeked through the clouds and lit up the sky bright orange. This couldn’t have been a more magical end to their day!
