Lake Tahoe Engagement Photos – Sam and Cody
Sam and Cody had the most gorgeous Lake Tahoe engagement photos. It was super easy to photograph this sweet, laid back couple and their little girl, Summit. These two are from The Bay Area and love to escape to the mountains to enjoy the fresh air, hiking, and all the amazing activities Lake Tahoe has to offer.
Sometimes it takes a little bit for couples to warm up in front of a complete stranger, with a camera pointed in their face. like REALLY good in front of the camera. To be honest, Summit stole the show. She literally smiled and posed for us the entire time.
Engagement Photo Inspiration
Sam and Cody did two looks for their Lake Tahoe engagement photos. The first outfit Sam and Cody wore was totally my everyday style – with a casual and relaxed feel. This was the outfit they chose to take photos with Summit in. I’m so glad they also chose to wear a more classic, elegant look. There aren’t many opportunities in life to dress up and wear something super fancy, so when asked about formal attire, it’ll always be a YES from me! Sam had her makeup done by one of my favorite, and most highly recommended makeup artists in Northern California – Taryn Passifione.
Session Details
We were fortunate to shoot in an area for this Lake Tahoe engagement session that’s usually a no-go. The wind on the lake picks up in the evening. Oftentimes, Lake Tahoe is just too windy to photograph anywhere outside of the coves. We had the calmest, perfect blue water! Sam was was willing to brave jumping across rocks in a gown to get the perfect shot! I love when my couples are adventurous and willing to trust my wild ideas during our Lake Tahoe engagement photos!
