Lake Tahoe Cave Rock Engagement Photos
I was so excited to finally get to meet Ryan and Jamie for their Lake Tahoe Cave Rock engagement photos! These two are from Northern California and I’m so excited to shoot their Club Del Monte wedding at the Naval Postgraduate School next August in Monterey!
We chose this beach adjacent to the famed Cave Rock tunnel because of it’s seclusion and beautiful views. Because the beach is set up in a cove, it offered gorgeous filtered light, and a mix of mountain and lake views for their Lake Tahoe Cave Rock Engagement Photos.
Wardrobe
Jamie and Ryan chose to wear casual clothing in a neutral color palette for their first outfit, and then a gorgeous evening look for the second outfit. I love that Jamie found a floor length navy wrap dress from a local boutique in Monterey. You can click here for a similar look! Ryan wore a cool blue button down with clean cut slacks. One of my favorite looks to photograph is an overdressed couple on the beach. I think it looks so elegant!
Club Del Monte Naval Postgraduate School Wedding
If you haven’t checked out the Naval Postgraduate School, you should! The Historic Hotel Del Monte’s history is so rich. Before the hotel was home to the Naval Postgraduate school, it was first a luxury resort opened in 1880. It gained the reputation of the “Most Elegant Seaside Resort In The World” at the time. I’m so honored that Jamie and Ryan asked me to document their big day in Monterey, California!
