These Hotel Del family photos in Coronado were so lovely! We couldn’t have timed the session more perfectly because they escaped an Arizona heat wave. Christine and Zach contacted me about their vacation family photos in Coronado and I couldn’t wait to meet their family! They have a one year old daughter, Olivia and we became besties right away. She loved playing in the cool sand dunes at Coronado Beach. We even snuck in a few photos with her favorite goldendoodle pal, Griffin!

Coronado Beach is a lovely place to bring the littles. The sand near the Hotel Del is softer than anywhere else in Southern California. This makes this the perfect spot for Coronado family photography. We did a little baby tossing, one of Olivia’s favorite activities. We worked hard to get the belly laughs, and we laughed just as hard! I even got to old Olivia and snap a few photos of Christine and Zach by themselves!

Family Photo Wardrobe Inspiration

I loved Christine’s choice in wardrobe. Specifically, I loved her lace romper paired perfectly with the cool blue tones of Zach’s shirt. I always suggest my clients wear light, neutral tones with plenty of white, and I think these photos do the explaining for me!
