Lauren and Xander are the sweetest couple! I met them through friends while photographing a Maryland wedding. When Xander reached out to let me know he wanted to propose at Sunset Cliffs, I was so excited! They live in Maryland, so flying out twice and allowing me to document the occasion was such an honor. These Balboa Park engagement photos are some of my absolute favorite!

We chose Balboa Park engagement photos because of all the Spanish architecture and fun vibes the park has to offer. Furthermore, the amount of variation in scenery is unparalleled. We hit up the iconic cactus garden for a boho touch. Lauren’s floral dress and trendy white hat were perfect for this setting. We were lucky to see the roses in bloom at the Balboa Park Rose Garden. The garden is only in bloom from April to early summer.
