Roxanna and Ron just celebrated five years of marriage, and to celebrate they took a trip to San Diego! The pair contacted me to photographer their anniversary photos at Sunset Cliffs, and I couldn’t have been more excited! Roxanna is an Ohio-based wedding and lifestyle photographer, so I was especially excited – and a little nervous – to take on this task. Roxanna trusted my judgement when I suggested we plan a sunrise shoot at Sunset Cliffs. It’s always a daunting idea waking up for photos before the sun is up (thanks, Ron, for being a great sport), but I think we call can agree these photos made it worth their while!
Anniversary Photos At Sunset Cliffs
Just South of famed Ocean Beach, Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is a stretch of gorgeous cliffs bordering the ocean below. At night, Sunset Cliffs becomes a bustling neighborhood as crowds gather to watch the sun dip below the ocean’s horizon. However, in the mornings, Sunset Cliffs provides a peaceful and, relaxing setting. We listened to the sounds of soft waves crashing below the cliffs. The water was milky blue, reflecting the gray morning marine layer above. It was truly the perfect scene for soft, romantic anniversary photos at Sunset Cliffs.
