David Girard Vineyard Wedding
This California wedding at David Girard Vineyard was the icing on the cake to a perfect wedding season, and I’m so thankful Ashley and Keenan chose me to photograph their special day. They are truly the sweetest, most loving couple, and I can’t wait to see what this marriage has in store for them!
Ashley and Keenan’s Story
Ashley and Keenan grew up in the same small Northern California town of Susanville, but didn’t really connect until years later. After running into each other at a Nevada/Boise St. football tailgate, Keenan had a “good feeling” about Ashley and mentioned to her friend Danae that she had grown into a beautiful woman. Sadly, not much came of that game either.
After seeing each other again at a wedding reception, Keenan learned Ashley had moved from Boise to Reno, and that “good feeling” of his was growing. He remembers telling his friend Dusty about her, and a couple weeks later, Ashley and Keenan ran into each other at his sister’s house for a party. The connection was made and within a week they had their first date. After dinner and drinks they shared their first kiss.
The Proposal
After spending 4th of July together at Donner Lake a few months after dating, they both knew they were in love. The following September, they were back at Donner, spending time where they first fell in love. Keenan had more in store for Ashley than just a lake trip. They chose to watch the sunset on one of the docks together, and at sunset, Keenan popped the question. Ashley, of course, said yes!
Wedding Inspiration
Ashley and Keenan are a very laid back couple and their David Girard Vineyard wedding reflected their loving, relaxed style. Ashley wore a beautiful flower crown by Lindsay Swickard, that paired beautifully with her boho, braided hair by Brandi Nolen, and natural makeup by Amanda Berry.
The ladies spent the morning in the most adorable floral Piyama rompers, before changing into their gowns. Ashley purchased the most gorgeous, backless gown from Swoon in Reno. Her accessories were layered necklaces and the most unique harem bracelet by Child Of Wild. The gentlemen sported rich blue, fitted tuxes from Generation Tux. We had so much fun shooting with this fun bunch alongside my favorite videographer – Tony Castaneda Films , and Sierra!

I do consider all the concepts you have presented in your post. They are really convincing and can certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are very brief for beginners. May just you please extend them a little from next time? Thanks for the post.
