San Diego Maternity Photographer

I absolutely love couple’s sessions and lifestyle sessions, so I’m extremely excited to announce that I’m officially offering San Diego maternity photography sessions! These sessions will be minimalistic in style, with natural, relaxed posing.  I haven’t done a real maternity session in quite some time, so I was so excited to squeeze one in with my brother and his wife while in Virginia Beach last month!

At-Home Maternity Session

I can’t even describe my excitement when my brother sent me an ultrasound photo via Snapchat a few months ago! I cannot wait to be an Aunt to the sweetest little girl, and to spoil her rotten.  Leah’s in-home Virginia Beach pregnancy session was so much fun! The nursery hadn’t quite been put together yet, so we had fun keeping it simple against the champagne walls they chose for baby girl. Leah is the most adorable pregnant woman and my camera loved her! I loved that she was patient with me as I shot a roll of film indoors. Shooting film is always worth the outcome.

Leah announced that she was pregnant by getting Adam some “Daddy IPA”. She asked him to go to the fridge and grab her one, and the rest is history! I love that they’ll be able to keep the bottle as a keepsake for years to come.

Seriously, can we talk about that pregnancy glow?

First Landing State Park Couple’s Session

We had the worst luck with weather – or, depending how you look at it – BEST luck ever for their couple’s shoot the next day! A huge snow storm (along with a 9 degree wind chill) decided to roll in the week I was there. We braved the snow for a few shots, and I love how they turned out! Most photographers can agree, it’s actually REALLY hard & intimidating to take photos to those who are the closest to you. I’m so happy that Adam and Leah were laid back and went with the flow for me.

Adam and Leah are going to make the best parents, and I can’t wait to see them flourish as they enter into parenthood! Love you guys!
