Crater Lake

Crater Lake

Chris and I decided not to take a honeymoon after our wedding. Instead, we wanted to break up our time off into smaller vacations! Our first big trip was to Oregon, and Crater Lake National Park.

The bright blue water was unreal. Completely different than Tahoe blue. It was much more rich and royal in color. Crater Lake is the deepest lake in America, formed by a super volcano.

It’s a really good thing we didn’t bring Teddy along, because the cliffs were a straight drop-off. The lake was much smaller than we expected, and we circumnavigated it in around 30 minutes. It definitely doesn’t compare to the other National Parks we’ve been to, but we checked it off the bucket list!
